Brief Description of Organization:

ERI is part of North Highland College, which is one of the academic partners of UHI Millennium Institute, a Higher Education Institute distributed across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, adjacent to some of the largest wind, wave and tidal energy resources in Europe. ERI is a renowned research and innovation centre focusing on regional, national & international environmental issues such as climate & environmental change, environmental sensitivity & risk and renewable energy & sustainable design. ERI staff corresponds with statutory bodies and are engaged with businesses and communities in the north and west of Scotland with an interest in marine renewable energy development, and work with numerous developers that visit the north of Scotland looking to invest in marine energy projects.

Main Tasks attributed under Work Packages:

Experience relevant to tasks will be used in WP2 and also within WP5 (particularly development within peripheral regions exemplified by Highlands and Islands of Scotland).
